Description of content:

1.       Adjust and clarify the control scope of "Quarantine Requirements for the Importation of Processed Products Containing Meat". Products categorized as C.C.C. Codes 1902.30.10.10-7 "Instant noodles, containing meat", 1904.10.20.11-6 "Instant rice gruel, containing meat" and 2104.10.21.00-4 "Meat soups and other broths and preparations therefore, solid or powder" are exempt from the quarantine requirements.

2.       Heat-treatment requirements for processed products containing meat imported from animal disease infected countries (zones) are amended in accordance with OIE guidelines.
