Description of content: The draft decision amends the Common veterinary (sanitary and veterinary) requirements for goods subject to veterinary control (surveillance) in terms of the following matters:

• amendments of a legal and technical nature;

• addition of new terms and definitions used in the text;

• amendments to the provisions that establish conditions for the importation of regulated goods into the territory of the EAEU;

• harmonization of nosological names of animal diseases;

• harmonization of wording for certain provisions that are repeated multiple times in the text;

• revision of specific chapters related to live animals regarding requirements for contagious animal diseases;

• repeal of certain provisions contained in the section "Final and Transitional Provisions".

The second draft decision updates the forms of common veterinary certificates accordingly.
