Description of content: The draft Resolution provides for amendments to Annexes 3 and 4 to the Technical Regulation on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 139 of 10 March 2017. The amendments extend the validity periods of certain exemptions from restrictions on the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and add new exemptions similar to those applied in the European Union.

The draft Resolution aims to align the provisions of the Technical Regulation with Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 June 2011 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
